We are looking for an individual to join our database administration team supporting both internal and external customers. Our DBAs are responsible for the health, care and feeding of all databases used by Sircon to deliver our products and services to the insurance industry.Responsibilities:Create, maintain, and administer Oracle and MySQL databases on Unix and Windows platforms;
Ensure the databases are highly secure, available, and recoverable;
Proactively monitor and tune the databases for maximum performance;
Implement and validate disaster recovery processes and procedures;
Install, configure, and patch database software and complete database migrations and upgrades;
Support web application development, with a focus on assisting the team interact with the database in the most efficient and productive way possible;
